Michel Huygen: Synthesizers & rhythm computers.
Pascal Languirand: Sequencers, vocoder & synthesizers.
In June 2003, Belgian-Spanish Michel Huygen joins forces with French-Canadian Pascal Languirand (composer and author of the multi-million Trans-X selling album "Living On Video") and together the two musicians release an album called "LSD" under the artistic name Cybernium. Extremely cosmic and floating music in the mood of the 1970s but with the electronics and technology of the 21st century!
Their first and only album so far is titled "LSD", in a clear reference to the Psychedelia of the 1970's as well as the social and cultural convulsions that culminated with the development of Space Music. By combining slow passages with others of a rhythmic nature where the sequencer has a remarkable role, they take us through a journey full of magnificence and fascination. Unearthly atmospheres, melodies that whisper mysteries hued with romanticism, and rhythms with a strong taste of adventure, are the basic structures of this disc.
In conclusion, we are before an album of a maximum interest not only for the fans of both artists, but also for those who enjoy Space Music in its different nuances. Recommended.
Note: (I've added a Neuronium & Pascal Languirand unreleased track entitled "N & P.L." as a bonus track. It is not included on the original CD).
